Cadberg CD-9 Turntable with SME 3009 S2 – very good condition

The Cadberg CD-9 is a rare, high-quality turntable manufactured in Denmark, designed with a strong focus on mechanical stability, precision and long-term reliability. This is a serious analogue record player, not a lifestyle product.

The unit offered here is in very good, well-preserved condition, both technically and visually, reflecting the high manufacturing quality of this model.

The turntable is fitted with the legendary SME 3009 S2 tonearm. Renowned for its excellent bearing quality and precise adjustability, the SME 3009 S2 is celebrated for its musical, natural sound reproduction. It remains highly regarded, serviceable and value-stable to this day.

The turntable is offered without a cartridge. This allows the buyer to choose a cartridge that perfectly matches personal preferences and the phono stage in use.
We are happy to provide professional advice as well as installation and setup of a suitable MM or MC cartridge, either customer-selected or recommended by us.

The A1 arrived safely with me. The device was really well packaged by you and is visually in perfect condition for its age! In the meantime I have carried out some listening tests (with my rather modest components: Nuber nuWave floorstanding speakers, Dual 704 with Vinylmaster Silver and Technics Sl 1500 with Goldring IGC 910). In comparison, my Yamaha A-960, which has also been overhauled, can't keep up. The A1 reproduces the sounds extremely cleanly and precisely with great depth and pleasant dynamics, really great sound! More quality than I expected.
